Bands Of America Marching Championships

We are proud to annouce that the Trojan Pride will be returning to the Super-Regional Contest held in Indianpolis. The Trojan Pride has been a consistent finalist at BOA Regional and Super-Regional events for the past decade. Below is general information. Detailed information will be added as the contest approaches. It will be possible to purchase tickets for this contest in advance. A general itinerary for this trip is posted below. The performance time in preliminary competition for the Trojan Pride is slotted for Saturday morning.

Rehearsal Schedule for the Week

Monday - Regular School Day and Morning Rehearsal. 
Tuesday - Regular School Day and Morning Rehearsal.
Wednesday - No School - Fall Break. Afternoon Rehearsal is 4:00-7:00pm. Load all equipment trucks after rehearsal.
Thursday - Early Luggage Check In (6:00am). Load and depart (7:30) Hotel Check In - Embassy Suites - Indianapolis Downtown
Friday  - Breakfast, Morning Rehearsal, Lunch, Watch bands at performance venue, Dinner.
Saturday - Breakfast, Prelim performance, Lunch, Awards ceremony, Finals, Hotel.
Sunday - Breakfast, Depart for Jenks, arrival Sunday night.

Chaperone Information

Parents wishing to serve as chaperones for overnight trips will be required to go through the application process with the Jenks Band Parents Organization. The deadline to apply to be a chaperone for the BOA Super-Regional Contest in Indianapolis is Friday, September 11th. 

To be a chaperone, the Jenks Public School Volunteer training, Safe School ID screening and signature confirmation of reading the Chaperone Handbook is required in order to support the band program as a chaperone.

Band Parent Meeting

The band parent meeting for the Indianapolis Trip is scheduled for Thursday, October 1st, 7:00 PM in the Building 6 Auditorium.

Ticket Information

Most venues that BOA operates have gone cashless. This includes the box office and concessions. Please plan accordingly to ensure a successful day. Tickets bought in advance will be cheaper than tickets purchased on site. Ticket information for Prelims and Finals is available HERE.

Bag Policy

Bands of America encourages spectators not to bring bags into venues. Only clear bags and emergency bags will be permitted. Bag policies are efffective in expediting entry into venues and provide additional safety. Spectators will be allowed to bring items such as cameras, provided they are not in cases that would violate the bag policy at the venue.

Photography

Still cameras are allowed in the stadium and may be used from stadium seating, but not on the field. Tripods and similar equipment is not allowed. Jolesch Photography will be on-site taking action photos on the field level. Group and section photos will not be offered at this contest. Live Stream Performance

All 2026 BOA Marching Events will be Livestreamed through BOX5 Media. Viewing options include individual events or the entire BOA season. Go to box5tv.com to subscribe.

Merchandise & BOA Souvenirs

Apparel, T-shirts, and event souvenirs are powered by PepWear. Merchandise will be available onsite at the contest and/or online at shop.musicforall.org

Remember, your child will not be allowed to travel on BOA trips if payments are not up to date or a payment plan is not in place.
