Salvation Army Thank You!

1/12/18 UPDATE

THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE SALVATION ARMY EVENT!  We were able to help the salvation army raise $743.71 for their Red Kettle Campaign.  We are so proud of you, students!

Jenks Bands are partnering with the Salvation Army this year with hopes that we can assist in raising funds for Tulsans in need.  On Saturday, December 16th, students will meet in front of the Reasor's at 71st and Sheridan.  Students have signed to play in a holiday ensemble and/or to be a bell-ringer.  There were so many ensembles that signed-up that Miss Arnold had to combine several ensembles together.  Click here for the schedule of the day (please note that ensembles and bell-ringers are on two different tabs).

Please arrive at Reasor's no later than 10 minutes prior to your role.  It is also important that after you are finished, you do not hang out at Reasors for a long time.  We want to honor Reasor's contribution, and we do not want to impede traffic from their store-- large numbers of students simply hanging out in front could cause issues.  Arrive, play, ring, and leave!  ;)

Currently, the weather looks like a high of 66 and a low of 36 that day.  Students should wear their Trojan Pride gear /Jenks 8th grade band tshirt under their coat.  You are also welcome to wear holiday festive attire.  There will be a few Salvation Army aprons available that bell-ringers are required to wear.

Miss Arnold will also provide hot chocolate throughout the day.  Thank you for participating!!  It will be fun.
